HARVEST FESTIVAL

In our garden sits a cherry tree
From time to time will fruit
All but us will get a share
Of Mother Nature's loot

Caterpillars Butterflies
Pigeons Sparrows Starlings
Like a chain of fast food hangouts
Full of natures little darlings

Our fruit this year exceptional
In bundled bunches everywhere
No doubt a pecking cherry fest
Leaving nothing pecking there

A lesson for the learning here
Any hungry birds affirm
Get in quick and cherry pick
Come back later for the worm
