Mass Proportions

If your talking pounds and ounces
In grains of truth how right you are
For seven thousand make a pound
Measured weights avoirdupois

How heavy is the argument
Against the grain or set in stone
Fair and square a balanced share
Where loss of value maybe prone

Avoid perversion of conversion
On standard particles with mass
When demonstrated in a vacuum
With no effect from air or gas

Whatever your convenience
How you bag your sack of wool
Your universal lump in motion
Defines the gravity you pull
