The nation had a problem
To breakaway or hold on tight
Although issues hidden in the mist
Shrouded sides on which to fight
The politicians waffled on
Wearing egos looking smug
Intimidating honest questions
Joking smoking in the fug
Shame on those proclaiming
How they know the way for sure
With little fact that fools attract
A good for nothing no-win war
No interest in democracy
Lethargic losers unconcerned
Insipid leadership devoid of clout
Watching on as futures burned
