Muffled

 

The scrutineer was scrutinizing

With double entry eyes

For in’s and outs creating doubts

That mixed confusion with surprise

Looking deep for hidden meanings

In blandly typical disguise

Where content aimed to circumvent

And court a positive apprise

Not to put too fine a point on it

When writing up to itemise  

On text agreed one must concede
How much to lose where meaning lies
