In-betweens become resigned
Expectations while we waited
Never paying too much mind
Endings unpredicted reached
Somehow shockingly arrived
Unusual destinations found
Where other visions thrived
Keeping going lacking choices
Looking back with humble eyes
As the natural was all we had
