Fraught with recollections
Of Sweet Charity and suspenders
If I could only see her now
My mind made up of strong contenders
She is that very famous actress
Amazing talent I esteem
When in London back in sixty-nine
She was a super-heated dream
How can this nameless superstar
Confound my proximate recall
Who as a friend I clearly see her now
In our gang, she’s stand-up tall
When confronted with that famous name
My vacant blanks they humble me
To this star of stage and silver screen
I send my stark apology
