Sometimes I don’t notice
The patterns on the wall
Sitting quietly in my easy chair
Not doing anything at all
A good time has passed
Since the room was last restored
So now I glimpse a time when
Our small museum is explored
When we are gone like dust in the wind
Leaving only hints on how we stayed
And the quiet comings and goings
In that sitting room homemade
