There's talk since our last meeting
When battle lines were drawn
Hull council autocratically
Now treat Springhead Golf with scorn
Some say it is a culture thing
A Right or Left east-west divide
Where the left are all in favour
To shutdown golf on our right side
Springhead Golf is well subscribed
So it seems an act quite sinister
On the right of Hull an Albatross
On the left a Bogey Minister
We keep our vigil Eagle-Eyed
Our Birdies guarded from the vultureWho once proclaimed us Humberside
A bankrupt premise lacking culture
