Foolish Weather

Eight for the April Rainer's
At speed we travel on April’s road
Seeking shelter from the rain
Each passing cloud directed
Rising clusters in the main

Sailing by are seven sisters
On white horses ride the tides
Bearing changeable misgivings
Until the torrent spate subsides

With the heavens on my shoulders
The starlight warriors unite
In a dance on golden bridges
To be diminished by the light
