The Door At No.1

Garland doors in decoration
Display agreeable reception
Warmly stood in winter wood
To hail a season in reflection

As the mornings and the evenings
Subdue the light of summers past
A door now decked resplendent
Upholds the hope of futures cast

Long nights in family gatherings
Lavish halls of glittered Yule
Sharing warmth and wherewithal
Hibernal parlour jewel

  2. P.S...The Christmas lights above are gorgeous...how my house might look if I had the energy...and the money :) Beautiful!

    1. Yes a tremendous display (not mine of course) far too lavish.
