Without a watch or platform clock
Our sense of hours and intervals
Far from steady as a rock
For the drift between arrivals
Where expected trips begin
Can’t be guessed or estimated
If when started from within
Many dangers in a guessing game
Where what is what is where its at
Whether early on-time overdue
Demands a Station Master’s hat
