The habitual and the regular
No longer usual or frequent
Familiar has lost its way
Average now seems overspent
So much we took for granted
Adapted to the everyday
Where the customary typical
Acclimatised our normal play
The once inured and commonplace
Became the changes retrograde
Exchanging all tomorrow outlooks
A sense of prospects overplayed
The time has come for our contrition
To beg forgiveness for our waste
Depleting massively resources
