I went to see a spectacle
Though I didn’t see too much
Defeated by the distance
Not a perfect sight as such
I took a pair of readers
But there was nothing readable
I asked the wife what she could see
She boasted how she’d seen it all
Time to get an eye test
I could see myself I should
Enjoying spectacles with spectacles
Improve my sight of sights so good
