Those in attendance silently
Where the wheel of life once spun
To the music barely audible
Remnants of a life undone
Farewell waves respectful nods
Silent streams a heartfelt tear
Maybe a requiem or hushed elegy
as the last goodbye draws near
Atmospheres hang heavy
Amid emotions softly spoken
Move expressions sympathetically
To the lonely lost heartbroken
