Discerning Eyes

Looking at life
through spectacles

Unless
you're wearing disguise
When the loss
of your vision
For the sake of
your mission
May baffle your external eyes
Reason is clear
for this state of mind

Not easily explained
if you’re busy

As your
 visual thinking
ignoring
the blinking
May save you
from ending up dizzy
In the end
the truth of perception
Is how you support
what you see
Relying on others

too dependent on mothers

Are padlocks
that won’t set you free

Unbuckle your
internal foresight

Hear carefully
each visual word

Avoid being led

by the unseeing dead
Who swim
in the pool of absurd
