Another weary year has flown
We’re so relieved it took the hint
Pleased that for a little while
We’ll start the New Year with a sprint
No point in looking back last year
On the almost nearly done
From here on in the impetus
Must simply be more up and run
All well and good with resolutions
Toasting boasting bluster plays
Let’s embrace the light returning
Chase the sunlight longer days
So here’s to you and your potentials
And great occasions unforeseen
