Claude and His Cut In Sword

We call him Mr Miniscule
His mind is tiny tight
His imposing immaterial
Intrusive flat line pulse of light

In pursuit of pointless trivia
With a full-stop pointed view
He does meaningful in miniature
Each smiling moment will subdue

He has the finer points of random
Offsetting humour with obscure
Dresses niceties in sour garb
His every quip is soaked impure

Doesn’t need a social signal
To interrupt a friendly mass
Will wear a background petty grin
At best ignored avoiding crass

Oscar Wilde:
"Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go."
