Before the plot became confused
A regent street of royal slings
When the king was not amused
The courtiers did all they could
Rewriting history books
Making sense of things immense
Writing prose with fishing hooks
But all among a singer sung
Confessed and gave the game away
Colluding with those in the know
Who then produced a famous play
