No Sorrow for Tomorrow

In a suitcase full of differences
I packed away my heartfelt dreams
Some connected some rejected
A holdall place for tired schemes

In a darkened dusty roof space
I placed them carefully away
Found a drowning tavern bar stool
Catching happiness at play

With my disappointment covered
I breathed a sigh of fresh ideas
In blissful rearrangement
I glanced the light of future years
