Epistemophobia

Knowledge is a given gained
you either use it or you don’t
many will develop it
so many more just won't

For those who feel its worthless
a university of lies
are blighted by extremity
unable to apprise

The scar of technophobia
is corruption of the mind
irrespective of vast evidence
forced to languish in a bind

Grieve for all those shuttered minds
in a fundamental one way street
petrified by dogma’s bigotry
forever lost in low retreat
