Mel’s Hell

Newbie Ways and Oldbie days
spent trimming in the gym
lactic acid muscle cramps
sweating cobs to slim

Lifting weights and spasm spates
the fitness hall is spinning
consequential penalties paid
somehow she feels we’re winning

Experience is teaching us
that commitment is the key
unless those Newbies get a grip
they won’t be keeping up with me
