Quaff and Scoff |
Celebration cheer its party time
For Bill and Mary and their treasure
Three million pounds between them
Against the odds too great to
measure
Consuming copious crates of bubbly
To wash down trays of À la carte
Abundant funds for private health
Bought triple bypass for the heart
They’ve checked themselves in rehab
Well wishes from their friends
Who foresaw saw the crisis coming
Now green-eyed piety condescends
